Everyone, you might be trying to figure out how you can change your Airdrop name on your particular iPhone.
Now, doing this is very basic and really doesn’t take too much time, but to give you some perspective, your Airdrop name basically matches the name at the top of your settings. So, if you want to change your Airdrop name, it may also change the name associated with other iCloud features, so just keep that in mind. Sometimes, your contact name on your icon may also change, so keep that in mind too. Don’t change it to anything crazy, but if you want to change it, make your way into your Settings application just like this.
You click into your name at the very top right here, and the next page will come up.
What you want to do here is tap into “Personal Information.” Tap into “Personal Information,” and this page will come up. Now, right here where it says “Name,” all you’re going to want to do is tap into there, and then this page will come up. So, all you have to do at this particular panel is to do a couple of things. Firstly, you’ll see your first name if you want to change it, and your last name.
Now, you can go and change your first and last name to whatever you want. So, in this case, if I wanted to change it here, and if I wanted to change this here, well, I can go and change it just like that. You can also change it like this, whatever you want to do. You have a couple of different options to basically change it.
So, now when you’re done, what you can do is go and click “Done” in the top right corner. So, you can just tap on “Done” like this, this pen will come up, you can swipe back out, and now you’ll see that hopefully after a little bit of time it should refresh. over time, you should see that this particular name will change at the very top, and that will basically change your Airdrop name.
